Erwin is an experienced business consulting expert. His focus is guiding companies in complex transformation projects. He uses his knowledge gathered in business and consulting projects to facilitate companies to adapt their strategies, organizations, processes and information technology.
Before entering the consulting industry Erwin worked as professional in sales and marketing. He gained experience working for manufacturing companies in an international environment. Erwin has facilitated strategic planning sessions and has hands-on experience in managing sales and marketing teams. He has been in charge of projects such as: introducing new technologies, introduce branding concepts, launching new product lines, re-organizing sales channels and post-merger acquisition integration.
During his career at PricewaterhourseCoopers Consulting, IBM and Knuyt, Heyninck and partners Erwin worked on more than 80 different engagements. These projects include strategic analysis, implementation roadmap, project planning and execution, organization and human behavior and benefit realization.
Erwin has a non-directive consulting style. He has the ability to bring people together. He will add his knowledge to the project and leverage existing expertise in the client’s teams.
Erwin is visiting professor at the HUB-KULeuven since 2004 where he teaches B2B Marketing. He was also responsible for the course ‘channel and distribution management’.
Erwin is a long time active member of STIMA. Together with a team of volunteers he organized the annual ‘business-to-business marketing conference’. Today is chairman of the B2B Marketing expert group. For STIMA Education, the training partner of STIMA, Erwin is academic coordinator of the post-academic program ‘Business-to-Business Marketing’. He is also involved in many executive teaching programs, mainly about product management and B2B marketing strategy.
