B2B Marketing Conference 2011: “Green Value or Green Washing’
Date: 22 March 2011
Location: Frisomat, Wijnegem
The advisory board has decided to focus the next B2B conference on the accountability of the B2B marketer in the ecological debate. As there is sufficient information available on creating & delivering green value, this conference will focus on the authenticity of the message, hence: are we really creating green value or just ‘green washing’?
During the 2011 B2B Sales and Marketing conference we want to understand the role of the B2B marketing manager in positioning green value for the customer and relating this to the overall brand values of the company.
The questions we will ask ourselves are:
• How to position green value in relation to your brand values?
• How is green value part of your total value proposition? Can we do without?
• What are authentic and legitimate claims that can be communicated?
• When to use green value in the sales process (tenders,..)?
• How to respond to green procurement? Are SME’s under pressure by the large corporations to deliver green value?
• How to share a measurable green impact? (Eco-Footprint, life-cycle assessment,..?
• Can the B2B marketer play a coordinating role in the company towards the green value creating process?
I look forward to meeting you on the 13th Sales and Marketing conference,
